Stories that trancend Time

Dear Classmates,

Thx Gladys Ann for the encouragement. I am more of a facilitator, providing information from our fellow friends and myself stories to be shared and hopefully be helpful for us all in the future. Remember the filial piety stories from ancient China? How great it will be if we can share our own filial piety stories from our own family our own village our own school our own workplace with our various background, cultures and beliefs. For example, Gladys, because of her passion in teaching Dizigui to her country Philipine people, because of her believes that those people will one day rise up to the country and will make a better world, she is willing to travel far, sacrifies her personal time and energy in nuturing the current and future generations. Gladys can also tell us stories how Dizigui impacted her fellow students. Stories are one of the best medium to transmit filiel piety values. Stories tells our compassions, our beliefs, and our trust in filiel piety. Stories of filiel piety truely conveys feeling that touches not only the authors but also the readers. Stories will become legends and will be transmitted not only our generation but future generations to come.

On the same note, I would like to share our blog visitors statistic. The time frame for this report was Nov 23 to Dec 7, that's the day the blog was operational. I would like to stress out that our posting not only benefits us as Dizigui student but also to the whole world. Therefore, I am very happy with the outcome of this blog where we share together our stories and most importantly the stories reaches not only us as a classmates but also our LuJiang teachers in Lujiang Cultural Education Center in Kuala Lumpur and also to the world. During that time period, we have 194 visits, 768 pageviews, and visitors from Malaysia, Philipine, Australia, United States, and Taiwan. Here is the link to the file. 1. Stories are like the teachings of our ancestors that can be passed over from one generation to another generation. The teaching of Confucius, for example, has been passed over for 2,500 years. Thus, it is now our duty to pass the wisdom of Confucius to our next generation.
