誠心祈三願[The Three Sincere Vows]

Dear Classmates,
For the past few days [many hours] I have been translating the music cd1 to english meaning using google translator. I am touched by Henry's effort to translate to pinyin for us all to learn singing the song. I am touched by Mr. Choi is his effort to give us the CDs as our graduation present. So I would like to continue the good cause by initiating the song translation into english. Listening to the songs give me a feeling of closeness and enhances my senses.
Saying that, this is a rough translation because (1)mostly done by computer (2)reviewed by me...an illiterate in chinese tradition and literature. My purpose will be fullfilled if we have an idea of the song's meaning and maybe refine the meaning in the future. [bow]

Let us all together to willingly sincerely pray
Let us all together to wholeheartedly making vow
Making our vows known throughout heaven constantly
Let our sadness and sorrow merge with Buddha's wisdom
Our prayers is immeasurable boundless
Let us all together to humbly pray
Let us all together sincerely vow for all living beings

First vow is with one heart and mind eliminating anger and hatred
A world without disaster without difficulty without crying sound
Oh Buddha, we sincerely pray 10 million times
We wish again and again, 10 million wishes, layer of layers of Tzu Chi's love
Oh Buddha, we sincerely pray 10 million times
We wish again and again, 10 million wishes, layer of layers of people's love
Let us all together sincerely pray using benevolent virtue to attain the right state of mind
Let us all together sincerely vow using thankfulness from the heart
We sincerely pray for the common people
Second vow is wishing society to be peace and harmony and to eliminate disputes
Together holding hand in hand towards the harmony road of happiness
