Sincerity in Every Guideline in Di Zi Gui

The article below is from Teacher Pat. This is how her teacher defined "sincerity."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Every guideline that we learn from this book has an attitude of sincere respect due to the heart of loving kindness

Sincere = as pure and simple as it is without any other thought/attempt
= unconditionally; do not have any request attach to it
= no expectation; do not expect others to reach certain standard

For example, if my left hand feel itch, my right hand will scratch it unconditionally without thinking it owe him a favor. My right hand will not think that the left hand should make up for him and not to get itch again.

When we are sincere, we will respect every one, every matter and every thing:
toward everyone:
We will treat others the way we would like to be treated -- polite and humble.
toward every matter:
We will be serious and responsible.
If we are lazy, this shows that our heart is no longer respectful.
toward every thing:
We will cherish it and keep it clean and neat as it should be.
We will not ruin or waste it.
Every thing includes our body and every organ.

When we realize that everyone is like my family member, we will truly love them the way we love ourselves. Sincere respect derives from this loving heart.

Every living being is once my parent in my past life times and they are the ones who will become Buddha in the future

With this intimate concept in mind, we will truly be sincere and respect everyone without any discrimination.

  2. The right hand needs to teach DiZiGui to itchy hand and that is untimate sincerity...and we have the best mentor; Liao-Fan's 16 goodness introduced by teacher Song.
