In one of the class lesson, teacher Song mentioned about good guy vs bad guy. She gave an example, on a mid hot day in an outdoor shopping parking lot; everybody was on their toes frantically looking for parking for the last minute holiday shopping spree. Suddenly a car pulled into the parking space that I was waiting for the last 10 minutes. While tapping my finger on the driving wheel, what would I do, pull out and reason with the driver or drive away to find another car spot? Well, I raised my hand and answered that I would be a good dizigui student and drive away happily. I might be doing that at LuJiang parking lot, giving spot to all those wonderful teachers and students. However thinking back, I don't think I would be a good dizigui student at that point of time. Why, because I have been waiting for 10 minutes under the hot sun and my mom has been calling me non-stop on the phone to get the grocery done asap. My patience would have been up to the neck. That incident could as well ruin my whole happy day. So come back to the issue good vs bad guy, am I a good guy not arguing or am I a bad guy leaving the spot and ruin the mood for the whole day?
For me, I will choose not to argue with the guy but I will secretly complain to other people about the driver's rudeness. I am also a bad guy. Haha!
